Workload is not the same as Result. These figures use different units and may overlap, so they are not added into one activity total. They show what departments handled—not response time, prevention success, service quality, readiness or community outcome.
What it costs in the FY2027 Budget
How this resident view relates to the Town ledger.
Loading the FY2027 expense view…
FY2027 vehicle investment: The expense ledger includes $970,000 for a fire truck and fire-response pickup truck.
The Town’s July 9, 2026 Expense Control Report supplies the department names, account descriptions, fund labels and budget amounts shown here. CivicSS adds the Portfolio, Program, Work Mode and Expense Story categories so residents can explore those same account rows in a service aligned category. Those organizing categories are ours; they are not Town ledger labels.
Keep the two questions together: What did residents receive, and what did it Cost? This broad grouping is Budget authority—not actual spending, direct payroll, Cost per call or evidence that the services worked.
